Janis Simsons
A farmer in Vidrizi, Latvia, master of inventive stable-building. He came to this region when the factory in Riga where he worked as an engineer failed to survive after the change of political systems.

"Every morning I take a walk around the farm. This morning I also checked the beaver traps.
I could use the GPS to see where my workers are, because they sometimes disappear unexpectedly
and later they can never explain why, or where they have been....
I started to design the barn so that the feed bins faced south, so the cows always had sunshine when they ate.But later there were more cows and I had to let go of this idea."
